Jumlah korban meninggal dunia akibat banjir dan longsor yang melanda sejumlah wilayah di Pulau Sumatera terus bertambah. Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) mencatat, hingga Minggu (30/11/2025), total 442 warga meninggal dunia dan 402 orang masih hilang. Data tersebut merupakan akumulasi dari tiga provinsi terdampak, yakni Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, dan Aceh, yang dilaporkan Kepala BNPB Suharyanto dalam konferensi pers pada Minggu malam. Di antara tiga provinsi, Sumatera Utara menjadi daerah dengan korban meninggal terbanyak, yakni 217 jiwa dengan 209 orang yang masih hilang. Pelajaran berharga yang harusnya selalu mengingatkan kita untuk tidak "serakah".
