The post features a 33-second industrial clip that looks shocking at first glance-showing a red-hot forged metal piece being lowered into what the caption claims is "water," only for the tank to erupt in flames instead of putting the fire out. In reality, the tank isn't filled with water at all-it's quenching oil, a standard coolant used in metal heat-treating to prevent cracking. When a glowing steel part hits the oil, the extreme temperature instantly vaporizes and ignites the oil, creating a dramatic surface fire, thick smoke, and that roaring flame effect. This is routine in forging shops, which is why proper ventilation and fire-safe tanks are always installed.
