We like to believe we’re immune. That other people’s habits, mindsets, and behaviors don’t affect us. But influence is subtle. It happens in silence. You start normalizing what once bothered you. You laugh at things you used to question. You shrink dreams you once spoke out loud. Not because you changed on your own but because your environment slowly taught you what was acceptable. Energy is contagious. So are limits, ambition, self respect, and mediocrity. You don’t become like the people around you overnight. You become like them through repetition. Through what you tolerate. Through what you stop questioning. Pay attention to who you feel like after you leave the room. That’s the real influence.
